It is our week vacation at our summer house at Black Butte Ranch, but I made it in to two weeks. Oh, the experiences we have had. Humming bird fights, bat bugs, way to long - bike rides, candy at the general store almost every night. As we speak there are two young bucks running through our yard. I've been waking up early every morning so I can take in the simplicity and beauty of the meadow. This morning I had the pleasure of seeing the sweetest thing, a mama doe and her tiny twin babies. At 8 o'clock every morning the cowboys run the horses in to the corral for the day. That is a site to see as almost 50 horses run under the shadow of Three Finger Jack. It has been an inspiring couple of weeks. I got to go to the Stichin Post in Sisters and get some fabric to make a quilted duvet cover for my youngest daughter. And, it set the creative juices flowing. Now I know what I want to do....
